Cosy in dryrobe next to frozen loch

Possibly One Of The Scariest Things I have Ever Done…

So late last year, after my guest post for the inspiring Caledonia Collective came out, a friend who works on the local radio station Speysound Radio got in touch to ask if I would do an interview with them.
Woah. Really? You sure you want me?
Yes? Well ok, why not…
Which was totally fine when it was a hypothetical at-some-point-in-the-future thing, then when the day finally came I was freaking terrified. I had to go dunk myself in an ice-covered loch to chill out…ok not really, I was planning on that anyway but it did help distract me!

Thanks to Pete it was a fun blether and he didn’t laugh TOO much at my music choices (I did apologise profusely for the Lego song). It was way harder to choose tunes than I thought, so many favourites!

So my random chat and tunes from my life ended up on the airwaves of Speysound Radio. I have really enjoyed the rest of the series of Campfire Conversations with other local folks, so I hope there is a spark of inspiration to be found in my chat too.

We covered wild swimming, being in the moment, OCR (Obstacle Course Racing), nature in miniature, running, an eclectic mix of music, and my confidence boosting tune for interviews.
